Almond marzipan is a paste made of sugar and ground almonds and it found its way in Europe from the Middle East at the time of the Crusades. In the UK, almond marzipan is traditionally used to cover a Christmas cake underneath the final
icing. It can also be used for modelling Marzipan fruits, another Christmas speciality.
Almond marzipan with low sugar content is different to marzipan made for modelling which has a higher sugar content to make them more suitable for shaping. Our selected marzipans are made from almonds grown mainly in California and Spain which are considered some of the finest in the world and you can buy bulk marzipan of this exceptional quality through us.

Using edible chocolate transfer sheets allows you to add a variety of festive eye-catching designs to your chocolates. Choose from tasteful seasonal characters such as snowmen, leaping reindeer, gingerbread men or Santa himself. Or if you’re after delicate Christmas patterns then we have stars, sparkles, snowflakes holly, mistletoe, baubles and options galore to choose from – over 200 in fact!
Edible chocolate transfer sheets are transparent acetate sheets that are composed of a sugar-based print decoration using edible inks. Chocolate transfer sheets can also be used by laying the sheet across the top of your dipped or enrobed chocolates or on cakes, desserts or patisserie. They can also be used on marzipan by brushing over some tempered cocoa butter beforehand.
Chocolate transfer sheets were traditionally used with magnetic chocolate moulds which are specifically made for use with Transfer Sheets as they have a removable metal back plate which allows you to insert the sheet under the cavities in the mould so that when you turn them out the pattern is on the top of your chocolate.
A seasonal favourite for bakery or slathered in chocolate
Griottines come from a specific species of Morello cherry related to the sweet cherry but with a fruit that is slightly more acidic. Our Griottines come from the Oblachinska cherry found only in the Balkans and are of superior taste and suited to both savoury and sweet dishes …and particularly good with chocolate and desserts!
Griottines are immersed in either Cointreau or Kirsch and are a particular favourite for the Christmas season either in bakery, patisserie or individual chocolate pralines. Griottines can be purchased stoned, with stalks (Griottine décor) or without, and chopped in a thickened juice.
We also supply Framboisines which are raspberries steeped in liqueur and Blackcurrents (“Noir de Bourgogne” variety) in Liqueur both of which are both a super addition to your cocktails or desserts.
