Marzipan

Almond Marzipan has many different applications such as marzipan icing for covering fruit cakes or used as a centre for chocolates and used alone to make sweet treats especially modelled shapes such as fruits and animals. Higher grade marzipans usually have a lower sugar content and higher almond content whereas marzipan used for modelling will usually have a higher sugar content to make it more pliable for shaping.
