How else would you celebrate Easter other than giving and receiving chocolate? It has long been a tradition to eat chocolate at this time of year but many centuries ago people eggs laid by hens were saved and decorated for children as gifts.
It was seen as a symbol of new life and new beginnings in festivals celebrating the start of Spring.
The first time that chocolate eggs appeared dates to the 19th century in Germany and France. The first modern style egg that we enjoy today was produced in the UK in 1875.
These eggs soon became popular and remain a favourite worldwide today.

Easter egg boxes and Inserts
To make your Easter Eggs stand out from the crowd it is essential that the packaging is as beautiful to look at as your eggs are delicious to eat! Starting with your mould you can then decide the size of carton needed and then from there you can choose the colour and size of your inserts.
Making different flavour eggs? You can use the same mould and use different colour inserts to identify them. From shiny gold to black the choice is yours.

Chocolate Blisters
New to us this Easter are the very lovely Chocolate Blister Eggs. Allowing you to create superb, eye catching decorated eggs in no time at all and with very little effort.
The blisters have already been decorated with edible cocoa butter decoration so all you have to do is fill with your chosen tempered chocolate, set and turn out as usual.
What could be easier? In packs of 15 whole eggs / 30 half eggs these blisters give you the opportunity to do something really different this year.
Easter Egg Support Stands
If you prefer to display your eggs in a bag or cellophane wrap rather than a box, the Easter Egg Support stands will allow you to stand the egg upright to display and minimise the risk of damage.
Transfer Sheets
Cocoa butter transfer sheets are thin sheets of food-safe plastic that have a colourful and decorative pattern applied to them made from coloured cocoa butter.
When the sheet comes in contact with warm melted chocolate, the pattern melts. As the chocolate in the mould cavity cools to form a solid piece, the pattern transfers to the chocolate.
Magnetic transfer moulds hold coloured cocoa butter transfer sheets in place with the help of strong magnets and a stainless steel metal backing however they can be used by simple laying the sheet on the top of the chocolate before it sets.
They allow you to produce exquisite Seasonal chocolates as there are many designs available from Easter bunnies and chicks to Spring flowers and patterns.
Transfer sheets can also be used for Bakery and Patisserie goods
