Used

The used machinery at Vantage House is offered with between 3 months and 12 months warranty. Please check each listing to clarify this.

We offer a service where we will advertise your used machinery on your behalf subject to a condition check and the machinery being supported by our service department. (for example it must be a manufacturer that we deal with or be originally supplied by Vantage House)

If we do not have a machine you require in the used section please feel free to email us with your requirement and we can add your name to a waiting list for your chosen machine. Alternatively you may wish to consider some of our funding options. We offer finance leasing and even interest free credit on some lines.

There is always the option of hiring the machine if you are in a hurry to increase production but a used machine is not ready for purchase at present?

Used - SPECTRA 100 Granite Grinder

This 32kg capacity machine is the perfect companion to enterprise. The classic Titling feature makes it unnecessary to have to lift the vessel or drum to pour out the contents. Cleaning is a breeze..... Simply pour water, run the grinder for a few seconds and pour out the water... it almost cleans itself. Solid Stainless Steel stand provides elegance, strength and durability. In addition, this grinder has all the features that make it stand out ... a powerful motor, black granite grinding stones for a long life of 10 years or more and high quality internal and external components.

Tension of the granite stones can be adjusted to obtain different grades of shear at different stages of the grinding process and for different ingredients.  The machine features double granite roller stones that rotate over a granite base. This creates tremendous shear that reduces the cocoa nibs to fine chocolate liquor with a possible particle size of the order of less than 15 microns.

Speed controller and control panel is provided as standard with the unit, and comes with built in electrical MCB protection. This unit helps you to set the machine speed for different processing and adjust the quantity of ingredients. 

The machine can also work as a conch and a refiner. The tension from the stones can be fully released for the conching cycle without grinding further, such that the cocoa liquor is continuously exposed to air without grinding it further and the volatiles are removed. All models have this feature and there is no requirement for a separate model or attachments to buy.

This amazing stone mèlanger is the perfect companion to your endeavours. We have made several key enhancements to the stone grinder to make it perfect for Chocolate, nut butters, Mexican masa, cosmetics and other food processing. Used - FBM Rumbo Chocolate Grinder

  • The core of Rumbo consists of a solid granite base and massive granite grinding stones. Unlike other approaches where either the base or the working bowl rotates, in the Rumbo the millstones turn, driven directly via the motor without belts or gears. 

  • Rumbo also includes forced hot air as a standard feature. This enables the base and grinding stones to be heated before a batch is started, expressing the cocoa butter from the nibs more effectively than working from a cold start. If desired, the hot air (which can be adjusted from ambient up to 75°C) can be turned on (or remain on) during grinding, which leads to more efficient conching action and shorter processing times than with similar machines. 

  • Whether working from-the-bean, purchasing roasted nib, or working from liquor, Rumbo provides chocolate makers with more precise control over the parameters of the chocolate-making process.
