Luker Chocolate has done it again! This hefty, yet affordable, 20kg bag of Choco Oat M!lk might just be the answer to your vegan couverture chocolate needs.
But, is it gritty?
In short: no!
Luker Chocolate has worked hard over the years to ensure that their very first vegan couverture chocolate lives up to your needs. It’s just as smooth and beautifully creamy as their famous range of true milk chocolates – and it tastes like a dream, too.
These Choco Oat M!lk drops are made from Fino de Aroma cacao, and crafted there and then at the place of origin, Colombia, using ingredients local to the country.
You can be sure that this vegan couverture chocolate is:
• Plant based
• Gluten free
• Made up of a delicious 43% cocoa solids
• Produced using sunflower lecithin, which means; no soya
When it comes down to the taste, prepare yourself for all the character, depth, and roundness of our other Luker Chocolate counterparts. As the cocoa content of this chocolate is higher than other true milk chocolates, it oozes a sweet caramelly flavour that winds effortlessly through medium notes of cocoa.
Who could create such a thing?
Luker Chocolate are a family-based company that operates in the heart of Colombia. With nothing to hide about the way they produce their heart-winning chocolate, their supply chain is fully traceable.
Plus, they actively strive to create positive change in the way that chocolate is produced in Colombia. The first way in which they do this is by setting the standard they wish to see in the world. You can read all about how Luker Chocolate plan to improve environmental balance, bolster the living conditions and education of farmers and their families and push for positive, sustainable social change at The Chocolate Dream.
How to use Luker Chocolate’s vegan couverture chocolate
These lovely Choco Oat M!lk chocolate drops temper in the same way as any true milk chocolate. That means, if you’re using a tempering tank, heat it to 45C and then seed down to around 29-31C, and, if you’re using any other method, you can do your thing with confidence!
Once your chocolate is tempered you can use it for desserts, moulding, dipping, licking, and all other chocolate endeavours.
Is couverture chocolate real chocolate?
Couverture chocolate is usually referred to as ‘real’ chocolate because it’s made of one key ingredient: cocoa butter. Some brands use vegetable oil instead of cocoa butter, which means it’s chocolate, but not quite couverture. To qualify as couverture, the product must contain a minimum of 31% cocoa butter.
