1. Why is the requested temperature not being reached?

  1. Is your Omron E5CJ still working ?
    Is it giving an error function ?
    Can you replace it with the thermostat of another machine ?

2. How does the Omron E5CJ thermostat work?

  1. Only the functions "up" and "down" work on this thermostat.
  2. All programming is done by Prefamac, and further functions are blocked.

3. How to change a broken Omron E5CJ thermostat ?

  1. Push the right hand and the left hand side of the thermostat.
  2. Take the thermostat out of the machine.
  3. Replace it with a new thermostat from Vantage House.

4. How to restart the machine, after having pushed in the emergency valve

The machine can be restarted by turning the emergency stop valve a little and by pushing the green start button.

5. Which machine functions will be blocked after pushing in the emergency valve?

If problems occur, you must push the emergency stop valve. The wheel will stop. Only the thermostat (heating) will still be working in order to keep your temperature at the same level. The machine can be restarted by turning the emergency stop valve a little and by pushing the green start button.

6. How much chocolate does the machine need to function?

  1. Do not leave the machine on, without processing chocolate. This may result in unintentional temperature fluctuations.
  2. Never let the volume of chocolate go lower than half the capacity in the tank, as this may also cause processing problems.
