Hacos Samm Pistonless Depositor

SAMM DepositorFilling chocolates with any fluid centre, depositing chocolate directly to make solid shapes or depositing of any type of fluid mass is accurately controlled, both  in terms of temperature and volume for continuous reliable results.

The SAMM depositor can dose up to16 times per minute, and unlike traditional depositors that work row by row the SAMM deposits mould by mould - working with either standard moulds or customised moulds as required.

Without pistons, valves, or complicated change parts this all stainless steel depositor makes the changeover of chocolate colour, mass type or mould format fast, efficient and clean.

Specification

The double jacketed depositor unit is equipped with an electronic eye, and is supplied with interchangeable depositing heads.  It is possible to deposit 2 x 7, 3 x 8 or more deposits in the mould at the same time (subject to mould configuration).  Standard 3 x 7 or 3 x 8 nozzle formats are available, or unique customer specified layouts from 1 to 50 nozzles are also possible.

 

The speed of the deposits is adjustable, and the volume of each deposit can also be easily adjusted.  Throughput capacity is +/- 960 moulds / hour (15 moulds / min)

Description:

The depositor comes with:

  • two interchangeable depositing heads

  • thermostat on chocolate circuit

  • central control panel

  • photo electric cells for movement controls

Chocolate Treatment:

The chocolate must be supplied to the depositor tank by a tempering machine. This can be monitored with an optional level controller.  Here the chocolate is mixed before use (a compressed air supply is required).

From the tank the chocolate goes into the dosing system.  The chocolate is in a water jacketed closed system, controlled by a digital thermostat.

When the machine is not used the depositor works independently to keep the chocolate moving.  There are three positions:

Work:

depositing

Stop:

machine is idle and the thermostat heats to 45°C (nights, weekends)

Rest:

during breaks (lunch etc) the machine makes a deposit at pre-selected intervals in order to keep the chocolate moving, to avoid obstructions and to be able to restart with freshly tempered chocolate.

Moulds:  All standard sizes plus custom sizes can be accommodated at time of order.

The patented dosing system is very flexible and allows the dosing volume to be modified during the process by simply pushing a button (i.e. without stopping the line).
