decorating units)
-
Depositing plate, pistons
and hopper easily cleaned
The
MDEX Extruder is designed for the cutting and forming of solid masses, and
equipped with an extra piston mastered depositing head for classical cream
fillings.
The Hacos "MD" depositors are a range
depositing units, equipped with pistons. Depending on the application there are
several versions available:
1. MDB: depositing on a belt
2. MDS: depositing into moulds (mould per
mould)
3. MDEX: extrusion and depositing, on a belt
or into moulds
4. MDOS: depositing chocolate and cream in
"one-shot" (row per row or mould per mould)
These servo-driven depositors complete the Hacos
pump driven depositors (Hacos patent since 1987). The "MDEX" extruder
is a version of the classical cream depositors.
Depending on the products required, this model
can be receive a different execution. The following versions are available: fix
head construction, 1 direction (vertical) head motion, 2 direction (vertical and
horizontal) head motion.
The MDEX extruder is developed to extrude row per
row. Optionally a two row extruder can be delivered.
The MDEX works with extruding cylinders to
attract the hard substance, deposits it through its pistons and then wire-cuts
the products.
The MDEX Extruder:
Description
The chassis of the depositor is made of stainless
steel, the extruding of aluminium, the extruding cylinders of plastic.
1. On top of the machine there is a collecting
hopper (+/- 20 kg) for the infeed of the substance. 2. The central block
consists of two rotating cylinders that move the substance down to the pistons;
these dentate cylinders have scrapers on the bottom.
3. On the bottom, the substance passes the
distribution block with pistons. The pistons press the substance to shaping area
where it is shaped. At the end, a wire-cutter cuts the substance.
Applying the cream hopper and depositing head
enables you to use the MDEX like a MDB cream depositor. The hopper and
depositing head are double jacketed and water heated. The MDEX 1D-14-600 is
equipped with one row of 14 pistons.
The extruder is controlled by a PLC. All
parameters can easily be adapted on the screen. Your recipes can be stored in
the memory. All movements of the pistons, etc are executed by very accurate
servo-engines. Compressed air is needed for the depositing cylinder and the wire
cutter.
The extruder is equipped with one depositing
plate for extruding products and one depositing plate with nozzles for operation
with creams.
The depositing head has a 1 direction movement
(up-down).
The height of the vertical movement can be
adapted on the screen during production.
The speed of dosing, the speed of the piston
movement (dosing and sucking back for creams) can be adapted.
The sequence of extruding is +/- 17 deposits
per minute, depending on the product.
The extruder is designed as a stand-alone unit.
It can be synchronized with an existing transport belt and with other machines
(e.g. depositors, decorating units) to make extruded products with cream etc…
Detaching the depositing plate and the pistons
for cleaning only takes a few minutes. Also the hopper on top of the machine can
be slided off easily for cleaning
If required, the rotating cylinder can be
exchanged to enable extruding continuously without using the pistons.
